Welcome to Aki Bakes! My name is Rosand and I'm the owner and baker behind Aki Bakes. Originally from Los Angeles, I moved to San Diego 10 years ago when my boyfriend, now husband, and I decided to settle down here. Little did we know that this move would set the stage for an extraordinary macaron adventure that now defines Aki Bakes.   In 2017, the macaron adventure unfolded almost serendipitously. A desire to contribute something special to a party led me to experiment with making macarons, and it was love at first bake. The delicate balance of flavors, the artistry involved, and the joy it brought to those around me sparked a passion that lingered in the background over the years.   Fast forward to the present, and Aki Bakes is thrilled to share our story. Our inspiration comes from our lovely Maltipoo, who serves as our adorable mascot, bringing an extra dose of charm to our creations.
